fundraising

Thinking of fundraising for us?

It’s brilliant you’ve decided to fundraise for Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind. By raising money for Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind, more people with mental health problems get the support they need and the respect they deserve – and that’s a very big deal. So thank you.

Now we know getting started can be nerve wracking but you can achieve far more than you may realise. Whatever challenges you have or are going to, you can do it.

So first things first, let us know what you're thinking of doing. We can have a chat with you about ideas, how you can collect donations and if you'd like one of us to come along.

Give us a ring on 01642 257020 or send us a quick email and we'll be in touch

We value your support and we’re aware of the effort that goes into fundraising, so if you need anything at all, just let us know.

You can also download our fundraising guide below or just ask us to post one out to you.

Get the FUN into Fundraising

Enjoy it

The first three letters of fundraising are no coincidence – so do everything you can to enjoy yourself.

Make a plan

Taking time out to plan and organise how you want things to go will take the pressure off you on the day. Think of timings, people to contact and how to promote what you are doing.

Make a schedule and a to-do list!

This may seem like a lot of work on paper, but you’ll be surprised how quickly you can tick things off. In this schedule think about securing your place or venue, the promotion you want to do and how you can get people to attend and donate. Allow yourself plenty of time to plan and organise, so when the day comes along there’s no last minute worries.
