On Saturday the 18th of September we hosted our very first Bark in the Park. With over 480 humans and 188 dogs attending we raised over £2,067 to share between ourselves and Redcar and Cleveland Mind.

During the course of the day we had 'have a go' agility areas and displays provided by Dottie's Dogs, stalls made up from local businesses and charities providing information as well as lots of tasty treats, toys and shopping for our furry friends and their owners.

We also had face painting and children's entertainment provided by the fantastic Pick n Mix Parties plus a photo booth over at The Raw Plaice.

The main event was the Fun Dog Show which saw pooches compete for titles such as 'loveliest lady' and 'Best Rescue'. The winners received a rosette and toy and were entered into the 'Best in Show' competition.

A huge congratulations to Blade who took home the title of Best in Show.

If you'd like to see more photos from the day please visit Burnt Moon Photography who specialise in beautiful pet photography.

A huge thank you to everyone involved including our fabulous team of volunteers. The money raised will be spent supporting mental health services across Teesside. We can't wait to see you next year!
